Love Child

Love Child is inspired by and reflective of The Age of Aquarius (2024-2039). Believed to be a tumultuous yet hopeful time fuelled by the breakdown and rebuilding of old systems and characterised by the overthrow of unjust governance, a universal ascent into higher consciousness is just around the corner… or is it?
Through visual storytelling I aim to implore hope from my viewer, fostering excitement for this chapter. With charismatic interplay between everyday motifs and mystical elements, I have merged the physical realm with that of the spiritual.
In romanticizing humans as, playful and imaginative creatures, Love Child takes a tender perspective towards humans, toeing the line of naivety.
 The collection maintains an air of light-heartedness as I play into the ‘dubious’ nature of astrology.
