Self Control

This collection explores the internal struggle of regaining control of one’s perception with the realisation that the external eye will ultimately perceive us through uncontrollable factors. Beginning with restrictive forms, it gradually unveils hidden identities, revealing the tension between self-expression and outside interpretation.
Every garment was manually knitted, with no electricity used, emphasising sustainability. Each piece is carefully crafted, reflecting the intentional manipulation of thread to create textures that embody the slow process of unveiling and reclaiming personal identity.

Riley Colquist

Riley, an international circus artist turned fashion designer, combines their knowledge of human form with traditional knitwear techniques. Creating sculptural, dynamic garments, pieces that blend artistry, functionality, and fluidity—celebrating the body and its natural contours with every stitch.
